These stocks listed below are the companies that are the farthest along in their clinical trials and have the best chance at developing a vaccine the soonest. Trump is begging companies to have a vaccine out by the election in November, which means that there is emergency funding and scientists working around the clock to try to rush out an approved vaccine for the entire public.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)


- Dr. Fauci said that Johnson & Johnson vaccine showed promise in it's clinical phase 3 testing.

- 2.75% annual dividend

- Stock price hit $157 in April

- Currently trading at $148


Moderna (MRNA)


- They anticipate their vaccine to be ready by December.

- No dividend

- Stock price hit $95 in July

- Currently trading at $70


Pfizer (PFE)


- "Best chance for seeking emergency approval for a vaccine" - Bill Gates.

- 4.2% annual dividend

- Stock price hit $40 in January and $27 in March

- Currently trading at $36


BioNTech (BNTX)


- Collaborating with Pfizer on vaccine.

- No dividend

- Stock price hit $104 in March and again in July

- Currently trading at $70

Gilead (GILD)


- Maker of Remdesivir.

- 4.4% annual dividend

- Stock price hit $85 in March and April

- Currently trading at $65


Astra Zeneca (AZN)


- Working with Oxford University and they believe their vaccine will be ready by Mid-2021.

- 1.60% annual dividend

- Stock price hit $64 in July

- Currently trading at $54
