Week 15 Predictions

Corey and Shawn each give us their prediction for every NFL game in week 15 .

Bills @ Broncos

Spread: Bills -6

O/U: 49

Corey: The Bills look like the best team in the league outside the state of Missouri, but this has all the makings of a trap game for them. Denver is underrated IMO and Buffalo is traveling a far distance on a short week. With that said, I still like them to squeak by, but don't dare bet on them to cover.

Bills win 26 - 24

Shawn: Trap game for the Bills? Drew Lock and the Broncos are looking better and better. I think that Denver can stick around for most of the game, but Buffalo will pull away at the end.

Bills win 27 - 22

Panthers @ Packers

Spread: Packers -8

O/U: 52.5

Corey: Carolina has been better than expected this season, but are showing signs of coming back down to Earth. The Packers, meanwhile, are heating up at the right time and look poised to make another deep playoff run.

Packers win 31 - 20

Shawn: Davante Adams is a top 3 WR in the world and nearly impossible to contain. Packers should win no matter what. However, if CMC plays, then his playmaking ability and Teddy's experience against Green Bay should help the Panthers cover.

Packers win 33 - 26

49ers @ Cowboys

Spread: 49ers -3

O/U: 45

Corey: The Cowboys are coming off their first double-digit win of the season in the Andy Dalton revenge game last week in Cincy, while the 49ers JV has put together two consecutive ugly losses. Robert Saleh's defense should do just enough to get them back in the win column this week.

49ers win 23 - 22

Shawn: On paper, the Cowboys should run away with this game, but that's why Saleh and Shanahan are the most underrated coaches in the league. They will outcoach the Cowboys and figure out a way to pull this off.

49ers win 20 - 18

Seahawks @ Washington

Spread: Seahawks -5.5

O/U: 43

Corey: I had the Washingtonians winning this matchup until Alex Smith was ruled out. I don't trust Dwayne Haskins any farther than he can overthrow an open receiver, so Seattle should be able to luck out yet again. They seem to face a backup QB almost every week.

Seahawks win 23 - 20

Shawn: Against the NFC East, the Seahawks beat the Cowboys by 7, the Eagles by 6 and lost to the Giants by 5. Unfortunately for Washington, Smith is ruled out and Gibson looks iffy to play. I think the Footballs win this game if those two were healthy. Even with Haskins at QB, I think WT's defense can keep them in it.

Seahawks win 20 - 16

Bears @ Vikings

Spread: Vikings -3

O/U: 46.5

Corey: I don't expect Trubisky to play well 2 weeks in a row, so the Vikings should be able to take care of business at home. Kirk Cousins has quietly been one of the better QBs in the league this year, and he'll need to continue that in order to keep Minnesota's playoff hopes alive.

Vikings win 27 - 22

Shawn: TruBearski is back! Meanwhile, Eric Kendricks is out again and the Vikings can't make field goals. In order for Minnesota to pull this off, Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook will have to pull off some GCP (game changing plays). After multiple turnovers by both teams and sloppy play, I think the Vikings will finish this game by not losing (it's tough to say either team actually wins).

Vikings win 24 - 23

Patriots @ Dolphins

Spread: Dolphins -1.5

O/U: 41.5

Corey: The Dolphins beating the Patriots in December is a tradition like none other, but this time it's not an upset. Cam Newton's days are numbered as an NFL QB, and Miami just might be the team that delivers the final blow.

Dolphins win 23 - 16

Shawn: My biggest claim to fame is the bold prediction I made before the season started last year. I predicted that the Dolphins would split the season series with the Pats (Pats won 43-0 during week 2, but the Dolphins won 27-24 during week 17 to knock the Pats out of home field for the playoffs). Over the past 20 years, can you think of a time that the Dolphins were favored in this game? It just doesn't seem right... that's why I'm taking the Patriots on the "upset".

Patriots win 17 - 16

Jaguars @ Ravens

Spread: Ravens -13

O/U: 48

Corey: Minshew Mania is back, but it won't make much of a difference here. Baltimore's offense is starting to heat up and this looks like a team that no one is going to want to face come playoff time.

Ravens win 31 - 16

Shawn: Like I said last week, the Ravens got their mojo back! I predicted them to win their final four games, and this should be their easiest one. All of Baltimore's WRs are out due to covid, which actually doesn't matter at all. I honestly forgot that they still employed Receivers. Ravens will rush for 300 yards and Mark Andrews will have 100 yards receiving.

Ravens win 34 - 18

Buccaneers @ Falcons

Spread: Buccaneers -6.5

O/U: 48.5

Corey: Tampa Bay can essentially clinch a playoff spot with a win over a Falcons team they'll face twice over the final 3 weeks (I hate when the schedule-makers do that). Atlanta is better off losing out to have a shot at selecting 1 of the top 4 QBs in the upcoming draft.

Buccaneers win 27 - 19

Shawn: Julio Jones is out and Darqueze Dennard is questionable to play for the Falcons, while Ronald Jones might not play for the Bucs. Without RJII, TB12 will have to be more accurate on his mid-to-deep throws in order to keep up with Ryan and Ridley. I think the Falcons will score a lot and cover the spread, but the Bucs will score just a little more.

Buccaneers win 28-25

Lions @ Titans

Spread: Lions -11

O/U: 51.5

Corey: Tennessee has been alternating between good and bad performances for the past 2 months, which worries me about their chances here after looking very good last week. The Lions are pretty bad though, so the Titans should still be able to find a way to win.

Titans win 26 - 23

Shawn: Mike Vrabel has Derick Henry and the Titans performing their best when it matters most. Don't be shocked if we see an elevated Titans team over the next 6 weeks. As for this game, the Titans should win by at least two scores. Stafford is questionable and the Titans will control the game on the ground all day.

Titans win 28 - 17

Texans @ Colts

Spread: Colts -7.5

O/U: 51

Corey: The Colts just beat the Texans in Houston 2 weeks ago (seriously, why do the schedule-makers do this?) and should be able to take care of business once again. Texans fans look forward to the day when Deshaun Watson is finally given some help by his front office.

Colts win 30 - 17

Shawn: Texans' Safety Justin Reid has been placed on the IR, which is a huge blow for that secondary. Fortunately for their offense, Brandin Cooks and David Johnson are back this week. After losing by 6 to the Colts two weeks ago, I think the Texans have enough juice left in the tank to pull this off for my upset pick of the week.

Texans win 24 - 23

Eagles @ Cardinals

Spread: Cardinals -6

O/U: 49

Corey: The Eagles look like a completely different team now that they have a real NFL QB running the offense. Arizona needs a win to stay alive in the playoff race, and this has a chance to be one of the most exciting games of the weekend, with Arizona winning on a touchdown drive in the final minute.

Cardinals win 28 - 27

Shawn: Jalen Hurts is here to stay. Last week, they put up 24 points on one of the best defenses in the league. Can you imagine how much they're going to score in sunny Glendale?? They're healthy and look like a brand new team. Give me this 6 point spread all day!

Eagles win 31 - 27

Jets @ Rams

Spread: Rams -17

O/U: 43.5

Corey: The Rams get a much-needed bye (more or less) before their crucial matchup with Seattle next week, while the Jets get another surefire loss on their quest for 0-16. The only reason to watch this game is having Rams players on your fantasy team.

Rams win 31 - 13

Shawn: I actually do believe that the Jets will finish this year with a win. However, it's going to come next week against the Browns or week 17 against the Patriots. I also think that Sean McVay is too smart of a coach to play his starters in the 4th quarter, which means John Wolford will be taking snaps. Jets will hit the backdoor cover on some garbage points at the end.

Rams win 31 - 15

Chiefs @ Saints

Spread: Chiefs -3

O/U: 52.5

Corey: Super Bowl Preview Alert! The Chiefs have been winning by the skin of their teeth the last 5 weeks and could use a wakeup call before the playoffs. I had the Saints winning before it was announced Michael Thomas would be out, so look for KC to win yet another close battle.

Chiefs win 30 - 28

Shawn: Thank God Drew Brees will start. I would hate to have to see "the game of the week" end with the Chiefs beating Taysom Hill and the Saints by 20. Also, as an Alvin Kamara owner, I'm thrilled that Captain Checkdown is back at QB for New Orleans. Regardless, I'm predicting that the Chiefs don't lose another game until they have to play the Titans in the playoffs.

Chiefs win 27 - 23

Browns @ Giants

Spread: Browns -6.5

O/U: 44

Corey: Cleveland gets another chance to prove it's ready for prime time and will face a sputtering Giants offense missing its starting QB. The Browns get back on track with an ugly win on Sunday Night Football. And hopefully Kareem Hunt scores a couple of TDs to help me get to the championship in my dynasty league.

Browns win 22 - 18

Shawn: The weather in East Rutherord on Sunday is looking like low 30's with chance of rain and snow. I like this to be a low scoring, run heavy, strong defensive game. I truly believe that the Giants have a great chance of pulling this off, but the Browns offense is starting to click. Nick Chubb and the Cleveland ground game will end up being too much for the Giants.

Browns win 20 - 16

Steelers @ Bengals

Spread: Steelers -13

O/U: 40

Corey: The Steelers get back to playing bad teams after a one-week break, easily taking care of business against the hapless Bengals. This game would have been much more interesting with Joe Burrow playing, but unfortunately we get to see whomever Cincy has playing QB this week.

Steelers win 27 - 12

Shawn: Mike Tomlin will go down as one of my all-time favorite coaches. He's too good of a coach to let this two game slid go on any longer. I'm betting that the Steelers win their last three games and get their confidence back heading into the playoffs. If it doesn't rain in Cincy on Monday night, the Steelers will put up a 40 burger... you heard it here first!

(rainy night score) Steelers win 30 - 16
